Art Director: Rock of the Dead (Wii, PS3, Xbox 360) – Led art department in creation of soon to be released guitar game that involves slaying alien infected zombies using the power of “rocking chords”. Leading the team of artists who created the game for the Wii in coverting the game to PS3 and Xbox 360.  Working closely with tech to find the most efficient pathways for converting the game assets to create the best looking game in the time allotted.

Art Director: Real Heroes: Firefighter (Wii) In charge of keeping the art department organized and on track.  Worked closely with tech and design to balance the visuals against processing power needed to create and environment where a dynamic fire system can spread to any surface.  Stepped into many roles on small start-up team, as needed, to help complete an ambitious project in a ten-month development cycle.

Web Designer/Artist - Maintain multiple web sites/online portfolios for assorted clients.  Create all the artwork and HTML code to build the site.  Continue to monitor the sites, update and add or remove content upon request.

2010-Present 

iPhone Application – Worked with a programmer to create artwork for an iPhone application.  Created the artwork to fit the resolution and size specifications to fit within the downloadable 3G size restrictions.  Duties consisted of all art asset creation from backgrounds and characters/animations to UI elements.

Museum Gallery Illustration – Created illustration of historic bedroom for didactic panel at Thoreau Farm Trust, birthplace of Henry David Thoreau in Concord, MA.

January 2006-March 2008 

Art Director: Jumper: Griffin’s Story (PS2/Wii) – Built a team of 9 artists and animators.  Project had a six-month development cycle.

Art Director/Lead Artist: 300 March to Glory (PSP) – Built an art staff of 6 artists and animators that launched the company January 2006.  Supervised as well as assisted the team to cover all aspects of game art creation including concept art, modeling and texturing, animation and particle effects. Worked with producer, lead designer, and director of programming to establish priorities, ensure cohesive approach to developing projects, and meet milestones. Communicated regularly with client, individually and as member of project team. Reported to CEO regarding game art and human resources issues.

July 2001-December 2005 

Lead Artist: Charlie’s Angeles X (PC download) – Led team to create a downloadable game as part of the Charlie’s Angels universe.  Responsibilities included character creation, rigging and animation.  Developed a snap together modular environment system to all ease of construction for the projects designers.

Lead Effects Artist: Fantastic Four (PS2, Xbox, Gamecube) – Created all particle systems for game including all lead characters combat effects.  Modeled, textured and animated interactive objects.

3D Artist: Defender (PS2, Xbox, Gamecube) and Pirates of the Caribbean: Tales of Jack Sparrow (PS2, Xbox, Gamecube) – Modeled and animated interactive objects.  Created man-made and natural environments as well as interactive objects to populate them.  Worked closely with programmers to create particle systems for weather, explosions, power-ups and weapon effects.

R&D Team: Created buildings, weapon systems and vehicles for numerous prototypes and pitch-projects.  Participated in environment, object and characters modeling/texturing/animating.
